The objective of the thematic programme TAKE OFF is to strengthen the research-, technology- and cooperations competence of Austrian players in the aeronautical Sector.
Target groups are industrial and service service enterprises (with their place of operation or research facilities located in Austria), researchers from universities and non-university institutions as well as users from the aeronautics sector (airborne subsystems and parts, hardware and software, equipment and services for manufacturers, operators and infrastructure).
Aeronautic is a strategic area for research and development in Europe and in Austria. A quite a number of domestic industries and research facilities have been established as suppliers to the European aeronautic industry. To strenghten these basis of technology is one of the main objectives of TAKE OFF.
