brainpower austria aims at presenting career perspectives in the field of research and development in Austria, at establishing ties between researchers abroad and the Austrian scientific community, and at giving information about innovation in Austria.

The modern world in which we live and work poses new, rapidly changing demands on young people in terms of their qualifications. For this reason, the generation innovation initiative focuses on the dialogue of young people with research and innovation in science and technology.

FEMtech is carried out by the Austrian Research Promotion Agency (FFG) on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Transport, Innovation and Technology (BMVIT).

FEMtech is a programme to promote women in research and technology and to create equal opportunities in the industrial research, at non-university research institutions, at universities of applied sciences, and in research and technology programmes.
